Founder

George Enow has over 5+ years of experience in building responsive websites and web applications.  Currently, Enow is a Computer Science Educator who has empowered over 1000 students in his 4 years of teaching through classroom lectures and skill development workshops. He has founded/co-founded a couple of businesses which include but not limited to:

  • Founder of eNow Digital (www.enowdigital.com), an online marketplace for the purchase and sale of digital products (eBooks, AudioBooks, eMagazines, Music Audios, Music EPs & Albums, Event Tickets etc) built to solve the problems faced by creatives/authors/artists in easily distributing their works online.
  • Co-Founder of Mungenow Properties (www.mungenowproperties.com), a digital property portal that aims to simplify the process of renting, buying or selling properties across Cameroon and the African continent.
  • Co-Founder of Mungenow Classified (www.mungenowclassified.com) a classified site in Cameroon where people can sell and/or redistribute unused or unwanted items whether brand new or fairly used to fill a new need, and become wanted again.
  • Founder of Opportunities for Cameroonians (www.o4cm.org), an online platform created in line with SDGs goal 4, 8 and 17 which aims at bridging the gap between opportunity providers and opportunity seekers in order to ensure that all Cameroonian youths have access to timely and quality information on local and international opportunities like scholarships, jobs, competitions, conferences etc. Within 1 year of existence, the platform has published/shared over 800 opportunities and has had over 10,000 unique visitors seeking for career opportunities (scholarships, fellowships, trainings, jobs and more).

In 2015, Enow received an Award from MTN Foundation in conjunction with Cameroon Ministry of Secondary Education as “Best Teacher in South West Region of Cameroon for Using and Integrating ICTs in Teaching for 2014/215 Academic Year”. In 2018, he received a DigCit SDG Award from the Digital Citizenship Institute (DCI) USA in partnership with Positive Youths Africa (PYA) as "Best Socialite for all SDGs" at the 2018 Digital Citizenship Summit Cameroon. In the same year (2018), he was listed among the 50 Most Influential Young Cameroonians in the "Personal Development and Academia" category by Avance Media and COSDEF Group.

Enow holds a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering from the College of Technology, University of Buea. Enow is an innovative changemaker driven by his commitment to social change with a focus on advocacy for quality education and access to equal opportunities for all. He has taken part in many leadership programs like YALI West Africa RLC Leadership program, Kectil Leadership program and African ChangeMakers Fellowship program among others.
